You have more room to play around with the rabbit cage type if the rabbit will be kept inside. They need lots of exercise so get a cage that they have room to romp in. It is important to keep the rabbit cage clean. You will want to offer a continuous water supply and plenty of interaction time too.

It is important to teach children to properly care for their rabbit. They need to show it respect. Never allow a child to shake a rabbit cage or the rabbit can be harmed. A rabbit is not a toy.
