Puppies - One Of The Cutest Problems In Our Lives No one can deny the fact that puppies are the one of the cutest creatures on earth. It's also a fact that puppies can bring the good spirits and can thus make the boredom go away. Nevertheless there is also an educational approach to this issue, i.e. many families want to teach their children what responsibility actually means and also how to respect another living creature.
We all not that puppies aren't adorable beings all the time. If you happen to ask a number of pet owners they will probably tell you that canine behavior problems begin when a dog is just a cute little puppy. The most important thing is that if these above mentioned problems aren't solved in time, the puppy can grow up to be a dog that consistently misbehaves and that doesn't obey it's master.
We all must agree that we don't pay much attention when a puppy does something wrong; we always tend to attribute it's unsuitable behavior to the dog's age. It should be noted that a great number of the canine behavior problems that puppies exhibit should be solved on the spot.
Let's just illustrate this with an example: many of us are confronted with quite the same situation - our puppy doesn't stop biting things. A puppy goes through a very difficult period when it's teeth begin to grow. Further more it is very interesting to notice the fact that puppies teethe just as human babies do. Thus a puppy will lose it's baby teeth and these will be gradually replaced by a row of adult teeth. During this difficult period a puppy may be pushed to chewing on various items such as shoes or slippers. If you don't address this problem immediately, your puppy will assume that it's okay to continue biting so it's chewing habit must be brought to an end before it becomes matures.
On the other hand many pet owners face the problem that a puppy won't stop barking. The barking of a dog is pretty much the same as our speaking ability, so dogs use their vocal chords to express how they feel. Don't expect to have a quiet home after you have brought in a puppy. Furthermore puppies will also growl when they suppose that you threaten them. We must emphasize the fact that these attributes of a dog behavior are perfectly normal and healthy for a puppy.
Nevertheless if this situation isn't changing after the dog has become mature you need to address this issue. We must also mention that one of the biggest canine behavior problems is when they won't stop barking at all. It is very frustrating and disturbing to have lived in a neighborhood where a dog barked and barked on over and over again. If one addresses and corrects this particular canine behavior problem when the dog is still a puppy, there is a more chances for the situation to be changed to the advantage of both dog and his master.
Another problematic issue that can be also very disturbing and frustrating at the same time is a dog that is always jumping on people or on furniture. If the particular dog that does that is a large one…this can become even worse. It can be a frightening experience for visitors if a large dog jumps on them as they come in. But this canine behavior problem can be also easily corrected provided the dog is still a puppy. All you have to do is to remind your nasty puppy each time it jumps, by speaking sternly to it. This will be extremely helpful and will prevent problem before it gets out of your control.
All in all we must also admit the fact that dogs are wonderful, loving animals and can be extraordinary pets. So don't forget: make yourself some time when they are still young and train them to be the perfect family companion. |
